Project Overview
We partnered with INTEGRIS Health to completely modernize the Main Baptist Auditorium, a vital presentation and meeting space that had long suffered from outdated, malfunctioning AV equipment. This location serves as one of the primary venues for executive meetings, community gatherings, and organizational events, yet its technology had fallen far behind INTEGRIS’s standards for reliability and performance.
Our mission was to revitalize the entire AV system, transforming the space into a modern, reliable, and versatile environment capable of supporting video conferencing, live events, and presentations with ease.
Challenges & Goals
Before the upgrade, the auditorium’s technology presented multiple challenges. The aging infrastructure frequently failed and was no longer supported. The lighting could only function in an on or off state, offering no dimming or control options. Audio and video performance were inconsistent, often disrupting meetings and events. The space also lacked video conferencing capabilities, limiting hybrid participation.
The goal was to bring this space back to life, matching the quality and consistency of the recently modernized Corporate Tower Auditorium and delivering a unified user experience across both facilities.
Solutions & Implementation
At ImageNet Consulting, we approached the project as a full-system redesign from the ground up. Every component was selected to ensure reliability, intuitive control, and long-term performance.
Visual Experience:
We replaced the outdated projection system with a SiliconCore LED video wall, the same high-performance display technology used in INTEGRIS’s Corporate Tower Auditorium. The result is a brilliant, high-resolution visual centerpiece that enhances every presentation and event.
Lighting System Revival:
The auditorium’s lighting was previously limited to only on and off control. We integrated the existing fixtures into the new system, restoring full functionality and enabling flexible lighting presets for presentations, meetings, and live events.
Video Conferencing Integration:
To support hybrid collaboration, we introduced a four-camera system using PTZ cameras programmed with preset zones. This allows presenters and audience members to be captured automatically, eliminating the need for manual operation during live sessions.
Audio System Overhaul:
The entire audio infrastructure was redesigned and rebuilt using professional-grade components for exceptional clarity and coverage. We also implemented Catch Box microphones, soft, throwable microphone housings containing wireless transmitters, to encourage audience participation and eliminate the need for someone to circulate handheld microphones.
Unified Control with Q-SYS:
At the heart of the system is a Q-SYS platform, serving as the unified control and processing backbone. It manages all AV functions, including audio routing, camera switching, lighting presets, and streaming, through a simple, user-friendly interface. This ensures that staff can operate the system effortlessly with minimal training.
Our team worked closely with INTEGRIS’s IT department to align the new system with the organization’s broader AV standards, ensuring consistency, reliability, and long-term serviceability.
Results & Impact
The transformation of the Main Baptist Auditorium has been dramatic. Multiple camera presets now allow for smooth, dynamic video communication with remote participants. Full dimming and scene presets provide lighting flexibility for different event types. A new distributed sound system delivers crystal-clear audio throughout the auditorium. Catch Box microphones make Q&A sessions lively, efficient, and hands-free. The Q-SYS control interface simplifies management and mirrors other INTEGRIS AV spaces for consistency.
The result is a modern, fully functional, and highly adaptable space ready to support INTEGRIS Health’s growing communication needs.
