Project Overview
We partnered with the City of Bridgeport to transform their Council Chambers into a modern, high-tech space equipped for today’s communication and accessibility needs. Their old system just wasn’t keeping up, and they needed a setup that could support seamless presentations, remote management, and—most importantly—live streaming for better public transparency and engagement.

Challenges & Goals
The existing AV setup was outdated and lacked the tools needed to conduct efficient, accessible meetings. The city wanted to:
- Improve the clarity and flow of communication during meetings.
- Make sessions more accessible to the public through live streaming.
- Equip council members with better individual tools for viewing and interacting with content.
- Ensure a reliable, easy-to-manage system that could grow with them over time.
Solutions & Implementation
We worked hand-in-hand with the Director of IT to design and install a smart, intuitive AV solution that made a real impact from day one.
Presentation & Display Technology:
We outfitted the space with a Barco Clickshare wireless presentation system that makes it easy to share content from any device—no cables, no complications. For crystal-clear visuals, we installed two 98” Sony displays for the audience and Planar monitors at each of the nine council member seats.


Audio Enhancements:
Every council member now has a push-to-talk microphone, ensuring conversations remain clear and orderly. Wireless microphones were added for participants away from the dais, giving the space flexibility without sacrificing sound quality.

System Control & Efficiency:
We powered the entire setup with a QSYS platform, allowing remote monitoring, updates, and centralized control. To help keep meetings efficient, we also installed synchronized countdown timers that help speakers stay on track and let the public know how much time they have.

Training & Collaboration:
We didn’t just install the gear and walk away—we trained the council and staff so they’d feel confident using the system from day one. The close collaboration with the city’s IT department ensured a smooth rollout and long-term success.
